Abu Dhabi Financial Week announces its partnership with ADQ Holding"Hanwha Finance"

ABU DHABI, 25 November / WAM / Abu Dhabi Financial Week, which will be held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, during the period from 8 to 11 December, announced its list of partners; ADQ Holding topped the list for the second time in a row as a major partner, and this year, for the first time, Hanwha Finance, the financial arm of the South Korean Hanwha Group, joined as a distinguished partner.
Abu Dhabi Financial Week 2025 is held under the slogan “Capital System Horizons,” and its agenda includes more than 60 events and more than 300 specialized sessions, with the participation of more than 750 international speakers.
The event will focus on a set of pivotal issues that contribute to shaping the future of the global financial sector, including artificial intelligence-based innovations, shifts in capital flows, institutional partnerships, the evolution of regulatory frameworks, and building sustainable and inclusive financial systems.
The list of strategic partners for this year’s edition of Abu Dhabi Financial Week includes Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Abu Dhabi Investment Office, ADI, Department of Economic Development – Abu Dhabi, Emirates NBD, First Abu Dhabi Bank, Mubadala, BGIM, SAS Real Estate, UBS, and Solmet, while the list of official partners includes Abu Dhabi Securities Market, Binance, and Capital Dot. com, eToro, HSBC, Further Ventures, HASHD, Midnight, Phoenix, Presight, and Standard Chartered.
Salem Al Darei, CEO of the Abu Dhabi Global Authority (ADGM), said that this event has become the leading platform for shaping the agenda of the international financial sector, and that the support it receives from leading entities and companies such as ADQ Holding and Hanwha Finance enhances the ability to implement the joint mission aimed at advancing the wheel of innovation, enhancing the interconnectedness of capital markets, and supporting sustainable economic growth, expressing his aspiration to present an exceptional session that highlights Abu Dhabi’s position at the heart of the global financial scene.
In turn, Hyuk Wong Kwon, Vice Chairman and CEO of Hanwha Life, a subsidiary of Hanwha Finance, said that this cooperation represents an important milestone for Hanwha Finance and the United Arab Emirates in consolidating the partnership across financial sectors, beyond the areas of digital finance, Web 3, and wealth management.
He added that his company seeks, by taking advantage of Abu Dhabi Financial Week 2025 as a pivotal bridge, to be at the forefront of financial innovation in Korea and the UAE.
A group of media organizations and international entities, including Bloomberg, CNBC, the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Allianz Global Investors, BNY, Brevan Howards, CMB Monaco, Coinbase, and the European-Gulf Cooperation Project on the Green Transition, joined as supporting partners for Abu Dhabi Financial Week 2025.
Etihad Airways continues its role in the event as the official airline partner for this year’s edition, while Abu Dhabi Global Academy “ADGM Academy” and the Stern School of Business at New York University participate as knowledge partners.
