Revealed The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the issuance of 48,152 transit visas through the Kingdom’s missions around the world during the third quarter of 2025 (July – September), in an official statistic that reflects the growing Saudi role in facilitating international movement and strengthening economic and tourism ties with various countries.

The statistic shows that it includes dozens of Saudi diplomatic missions on various continents, highlighting advanced activity in some diplomatic stations with increasing activity. For travelers.

Total visas

The Kingdom’s mission in Amman came at the forefront of the missions issuing the most transit visas, with a total of 10,966 visas, which reflects the strength of bilateral relations and the commercial and travel ties between Saudi Arabia and Jordan.

The mission in Doha came in next place issuing 5,500 visas, followed by Dubai with 2,736 visas, while Islamabad issued about 4,089. visa during the same period.

The rest of the numbers were distributed among Saudi missions in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas, in an indication of the large geographical extent of the movement of travelers passing through the Kingdom.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that these results come as part of ongoing efforts to develop consular services and raise the efficiency of electronic systems, which contributes to supporting the national economy by enhancing tourist and commercial flows, and facilitating transit procedures for travelers from various countries of the world.

These indicators indicate an increasing pace in the use of the Kingdom as an international transit point, in line with Saudi Arabia’s vision of strengthening its position as a global center for transportation and logistics services.
