The Minister of Health visits a leading Turkish hospital in rehabilitation of spinal cord and brain injuries and robotic rehabilitation

Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, visited “Ankara Gaziler” Hospital. In Turkey, on the sidelines of the activities of the 11th World Medical Congress held from November 24 to 26.
Ankara Gaziler Hospital is one of the most prominent global centers for the rehabilitation of spinal cord injuries and brain trauma, advanced robotic rehabilitation, and the rehabilitation of war casualties and complex injuries, as it adopts the latest technologies such as robotic systems (Lokomat and Armeo), anti-gravity walking, and electrical stimulation. During the tour, the minister was briefed on the latest therapeutic protocols and advanced technology in the hospital, which includes 210 beds and 16 specialized clinics.
