Abu Raida: Morocco is our most prominent competitor in the nations of Africa
Engineer Hani Abu Raida, President of the Egyptian Football Association, confirmed that the Moroccan national team will be the most prominent competitor to the Egyptian national team in the upcoming African Cup of Nations, pointing to the strength of the two teams and the levels they have performed in recent years.
Abu Raida said in television statements:
"Morocco will be the main competitor to the Egyptian national team in the African Cup of Nations, and the confrontation between us is always strong and at the highest level. level."
The President of the Football Association touched on the file of developing the youth sector and discovering talent within Egypt, stressing that he had made a clear request today during the General Assembly meetings.
He explained: “Today I asked in the General Assembly to give the opportunity to the children of simple people in order to discover talent, because football does not know social differences, and Egyptian stadiums are full of stars who just need an opportunity. Real."
Abu Rida stressed that the federation is working to implement a more fair system in discovering players, ensuring the expansion of the selection base and introducing a new generation capable of representing Egypt in major tournaments.
