Badr Hakim: "Singing in classical Arabic" An unforgettable fairytale experience that reinforces the presence of the refined word

Artist Badr Hakim confirmed that his participation in the Singing in classical Arabic represents an exceptional experience for him in all its details, describing the atmosphere as “surrounded by all meanings of luxury and sophistication,” and that the general scene in the theater of the King Abdulaziz World Cultural Center “Ithra” makes him feel that he is among his family and people, in a place befitting the language of the language and the beauty of its presence.

A unique experience that adds to the artist

He explained that classical Arabic has a special taste among a wide audience, and that presenting it in a space of this level adds an indescribable feeling to the artist. He said: “The experience is very beautiful, and literally surrounded by all the meanings of Luxury and sophistication. The classical Arabic language has a certain taste among many people who love it, and when the artist sings it in a place befitting it, the feeling becomes indescribable… and now, even as I speak, I cannot describe it.”

A conversation came Badr Hakim after his participation in the evening that was held yesterday evening as part of the classical classical singing initiative organized by the Music Commission in cooperation with the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture “Ithra”, and organized by Punchmark Company.

Generous interaction from the audience

As for the audience’s interaction with him during the concert, Hakim expressed his gratitude, saying: “The audience was wonderful, and they honored me very much with their interaction with all the songs, especially my new song that has not been released yet. They gave it to me.” It was right, and they listened to it from me with great attention, and their applause for it was something I cannot forget in my life.”

In the context of talking about the presence of classical Arabic among the youth and his smooth singing style, he said: “The classical Arabic song always conveys its feeling because it is clear and close, and does not carry complexity that makes the recipient not understand its meaning. When the artist presents a classical song, he feels that it reaches everyone in the Arab world and not just the audience of one country, and this, for me, is the most important thing: that the song be “Felt.” Badr Hakim also touched on his new song that he performed for the first time at the festival, stressing that it represents a great addition to his artistic career. He said: “It is definitely an addition for me, as it is the first time I have sung it in front of a beautiful audience like the one who attended today, and in Ithra itself. This is something amazing for me, an unforgettable addition that will always remain with me, God willing.”
