DUBAI, 28 November / WAM / Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Dubai Government Media Office, in cooperation with the Events Security Committee in the Emirate of Dubai, announced the organization of the “Union” March on the 2nd of next December in celebration of the 54th Federation Day, as part of the agenda of National Month events in Dubai launched by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, as an expression of the love and loyalty that the people of the Emirates have for the homeland and its leadership. And pride.

This initiative comes within the framework of Brand Dubai’s keenness to enhance community participation and celebrate the spirit of the union through safe and organized interactive activities, reflecting the values ​​of cohesion and pride in national identity.

The meeting point will be Dubai Maritime City at 3 p.m., and will depart from Jumeirah Road, Dar Al Ittihad Intersection, to Burj Al Arab Intersection, from 4 to 5:30 p.m., in a parade that embodies national unity and the spirit of community.

On this occasion, more than 1,000 flags will be distributed to the march participants, with the participation of more than 30 volunteers in cooperation with the Community Development Authority.

While the importance of participants adhering to the guidelines and controls that ensure their safety and the safety of road users was stressed.

In this context, Shaima Al Suwaidi, Director of Brand Dubai, said: “We are pleased to cooperate with the Dubai Events Insurance Committee to organize this national march, which expresses feelings of pride and belonging and brings together all segments of society to celebrate Union Day.

She stressed that adherence to the instructions and guidelines for authorized marches constitutes an essential pillar to ensure the safety of everyone and the success of the event in a way that reflects the civilized face of Dubai and the UAE.

For his part, Ahmed Al Khaja, Executive Director of the Dubai Festivals and Retail Corporation, said that the celebrations of the 54th Federation Day of the UAE highlight the path full of achievements that the country has achieved under the sound directives of the wise leadership, as well as pride in our heritage and ancient civilizational legacy. She added that the participation of more than 30 volunteers from the Community Development Authority in distributing flags reflects the positive transformation in the culture of volunteering in Dubai, as the volunteer has become an essential partner in national and community events, and we are working in the Authority to strengthen this role, and to invest in the “Year of Community” as a platform to consolidate the concept that volunteering is a national force that contributes to building the human being and deepening his ties with his community.

For its part, the Events Security Committee in the Emirate of Dubai explained that the national march represents an opportunity to embody the values ​​of unity and national belonging, stressing the keenness to provide a safe environment for all members of society during the national event, and encouraging everyone to participate in the spirit of celebration and adhere to traffic instructions to ensure a safe experience.

She indicated that police security patrols will be deployed along the march route to ensure the smooth flow of traffic, calling on drivers to adhere to the march’s guidelines and controls, and traffic laws to ensure security and safety for all.

In order to ensure the safety of the public and participants, and to ensure the organization of a national march on December 2, which reflects the civilized image of Dubai and embodies the values ​​of Union Day, the organizing authorities stress the necessity of full compliance with the approved and authorized guidelines and controls.

These instructions include avoiding random marches, adhering to the instructions of the police, not making parade movements on internal or external roads, staying inside the vehicle while moving and not leaving it while it is running, maintaining the cleanliness of the road, and not throwing waste.

It is prohibited to cover or obscure the vehicle’s windows with stickers, wear sunshades that obscure the view, or use any type of festive sprays or sprays.

Drivers are required not to load the vehicle more than the permitted number, or to allow passengers to exit through the windows or sunroof, and not to make any unauthorized modifications to the vehicle that affect its safety.

It is also prohibited to disrupt traffic or close the road, with the need to adhere to the specified lanes and avoid dangerous overtaking or from the shoulder of the road.

The controls prohibit placing inappropriate stickers, flags, or logos on the vehicle, using fireworks, obliterating vehicle license plates, or changing the color of the vehicle without permission. It is emphasized not to load passengers in places not designated for seating, such as the trunk of the vehicle, and not to drive a vehicle that makes noise or turn up the volume of songs excessively, in order to ensure a safe and organized festive experience for everyone.

Failure to comply with these requirements results in fines amounting to $10,000 to $100,000, along with impoundment of the vehicle for a period of more than 90 days, 24 black traffic points, and may lead to suspension of the license, as stated in accordance with the provisions of Decree No. (30).
