المملكة: End of May.. The deadline for correcting the status of individuals’ inbred organisms has expired

This phase comes as a continuation of the first and second phases of the initiative, which included correcting Falcon conditions, private collection groups, breeding and shelter centers, in addition to business establishments concerned with selling products or derivatives of fungal organisms, targeting the category of individuals who acquire or deal with fungal organisms on a large scale.
An accurate database of fungal organisms
The initiative aims to build an accurate database of fungal organisms within the Kingdom, and Strengthening oversightover acquisition and trading activities, and raising housing standards in line with environmental and health considerations, which contributes to reducing irregular practices that may affect natural habitats or threaten the survival of fungal species, and reflects a growing national trend towards protecting biodiversity and enhancing the efficiency of managing fungal organisms.The Center stressed that this step comes in the context of national efforts to protect Wildlifeand supporting the sustainability of ecosystems, in addition to confronting the challenges of illegal trade in fungal organisms.
He called on individual owners of wild organisms to take advantage of the correction period and review the regulatory controls through the “Fitri” platform, which allows documentation of fungal organisms in a systematic manner, enhances compliance with environmental regulations, and contributes to protecting biodiversity and the sustainability of ecosystems in the Kingdom.
