To attend the Arab Cup, Qatar adopts a multiple entry system for residents of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries

The organizing committee of the Arab Cup Qatar 2025 announced during a press conference held today, Saturday, in Doha, the introduction of new facilities through the “Haya” platform for residents of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries who wish to attend the tournament competitions that will be held in Doha from 1 to 18 next December.

The new procedures include converting the current entry visa from a single entry system to multiple entry, starting from November 30th.

The committee explained that the new updates also extend to increasing the validity period of the visa from one month to two months, giving residents of the Gulf countries a wider space for movement and residence, and attending tournament matches that are witnessing a large turnout, as happened in the 2021 edition.

Saeed Ali Al Kuwari, Director of the “Haya” Qatar Tourism Platform, said at the press conference: “In cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, we have presented this package of new facilities in the context of a coordinated strategy to support the tourism and hospitality sector and facilitate the arrival of visitors from the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, which represent one of the most important regional markets for Qatar. He explained that this step will contribute to enhancing interconnection between the peoples of the region, and keep pace with the expected volume of demand during the coming months, coinciding with the 2025 Arab Cup tournament.”

He added: “The new facilities through the Haya platform come as a continuation of previous updates aimed at simplifying the process of issuing visas and providing more flexible options for visitors and residents of the Gulf countries, while maintaining the highest levels of streamlined entry and exit procedures through the various ports.”
