After five days of continuous activities, the curtain came down on Saturday evening on "Sand & Fun"which formed a global platform that brought together an elite group of experts, government and private agencies, international companies, and amateurs in the field of aviation.
The skies of Al Thumama Airport in Riyadh were decorated with more than (90) air shows, in addition to The accompanying exhibition reflects the exhibition’s position as a bridge for international communication, and an opportunity to strengthen future partnerships in the aviation sector.
Aviation Exhibition
The exhibition was uniquely organized by the Saudi Arabia, during the period from November 25 – 29, achieved a global achievement and reached a record in the Guinness Book of World Records after launching the largest number of fireworks while flying in the sky using helicopters equipped with a launching pad, so that the club presents a new global standard for innovation and air entertainment.
Achieving the record, which came from the cooperation of the Saudi Aviation Club with international experts Aeropact and Flash Art, reflects the status of the general aviation exhibition. "Sand & Fun" The leading and most innovative platform for business, talent development and exceptional entertainment, in line with the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
Saudi Aviation Club
Through the various activities of the exhibition, the Saudi Aviation Club contributes to the development of the air entertainment sector and sets a new standard in the innovation of general aviation exhibitions. It succeeded in combining advanced aviation engineering and creative display techniques, within a joint cooperation between the Saudi Aviation Club, the Polish company Aeropact, and the Emirati company Flash Art.
More than (200) were witnessed. One thousand visitors visited various live, interactive and other activities held in the entertainment areas, and included more than (90) professional air shows, including specialized night displays and shows that lit up the sky of the exhibition, in addition to the static displays, which are a space for direct interaction with the world of aviation, as well as commercial shows, as the exhibition formed a lively business platform that included more than (150) exhibitors that displayed the latest innovations and technologies in the aviation sector.
The Future of Aviation
The event brought together dialogues. "HungerTalks" Experts and Saudi astronauts to discuss the future of sustainable general aviation and advanced technologies, presented via space "Terminal X" A new dimension to the exhibition, combining technology, entertainment, and general aviation culture in one integrated and innovative framework.
The General Aviation Exhibition coincided with the fall school vacation by allocating a space for children that included a set of interactive activities that merge imagination, learning, and practical experience in the world of aviation, within a safe and joyful environment. Visitors lived the experience of pilots, engineers, and creators through play, photography, drawing, simulation, and virtual reality.
