The UAE will open its pavilion at the Egyptian Defense Exhibition 2025 tomorrow

The Egyptian Defense Exhibition “EDEX 2025” opens tomorrow, which will be held under the patronage of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi from the first to the fourth of December 2025.
The exhibition is considered one of the most prominent defense events in the Middle East and North Africa region, as it brings together an elite group of industry leaders, decision-makers and military experts from around the world.
The UAE National Pavilion is participating in the Egyptian Defense Exhibition 2025 with the support of the Tawazun Defense Empowerment Council, in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense in the UAE, and organized by the ADNEC Group. The pavilion includes seven leading national entities in the defense industries and advanced services sector, including the Tawazun Defense Empowerment Council, the EDGE Group, the Caldis Holding Group, and the JAL Global Logistics Company for Aerospace and Aviation, in addition to the AMRK Company, the Advanced Military Center for Maintenance, Repair, and Umrah, in addition to Al-Jundi Magazine, the official periodical of the UAE Armed Forces, and the ADNEC Group, the entity. This attendance reflects the UAE’s keenness to enhance international cooperation and develop the advanced defense industries system.
The Tawazun Defense Empowerment Council plays a pivotal role in supporting defense procurement by ensuring that acquisition programs are aligned with long-term national capabilities requirements, adhering to the principles of value creation and industrial localization objectives. The Council contributes to building a flexible defense industrial base by localizing industries, attracting strategic foreign investments, and integrating UAE companies into global value chains for original equipment manufacturers, in addition to developing a balanced regulatory environment that includes licensing plans, standards, testing and conformity frameworks, and compliance systems.
The Council also supervises the provision of industrial zones specialized in defence, and enabling the necessary infrastructure for high-quality manufacturing, in parallel with activating the national research, development and innovation system through strategic programs that support the absorption of dual-use technology and enhance cooperation between the government, industrial sectors and academia.
The participating companies will display the latest defense and security solutions, enhancing the UAE’s presence on the international scene and providing opportunities to expand access to global markets and build new strategic partnerships. This strong presence confirms the UAE’s commitment to supporting innovation in the defense sector and enhancing international cooperation in one of the most important regional platforms for displaying advanced defense technologies and solutions.
The EDGE Group, one of the most prominent global groups in the field of advanced technology and defense, is preparing to showcase a wide range of innovative solutions across five main sectors, including precision-guided munitions, naval platforms, in addition to autonomous aerial platforms, in addition to weapons and ammunition, and secure communications.
While Caldis Holding Group offers its latest defense products and technologies, developed and manufactured entirely in the UAE, through three integrated groups that include: space, ground systems, missiles and defense systems. Among the most prominent exhibits is the Armored Combat Support Vehicle (MATV) equipped with the AlHeda missile launcher, which represents a qualitative leap in combat support solutions.
As for the ADNEC Group, it is focusing on strengthening its international relations and promoting the upcoming editions of its most prominent events, including the Unmanned Systems Exhibition and Conference (UMEX), the Simulation and Training Exhibition (SIMTEX), the International Exhibition for Homeland Security and Risk Prevention (ISNR), in addition to the 2027 edition of the International Defense Exhibition (IDEX) and the Naval Defense and Security Exhibition (NAVDEX).
The UAE pavilion at the Egyptian Defense Expo 2025 aims to highlight technological progress and the collaborative approach in the defense industry, by presenting the latest solutions and innovations to a global audience of experts and decision makers.
The pavilion provides a unique opportunity for visitors to interact directly with senior engineers, specialists, sales representatives and senior leadership, who will provide in-depth insights into the defense capabilities on offer, and the strategic thinking behind their development, as the matter is not limited to displaying the technical specifications, but also includes explaining the practical applications and operational advantages of these advanced technologies.
