The UAE Pavilion receives senior officials at the Egyptian Defense Exhibition

Yesterday, the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, opened the activities of the Egyptian Defense Exhibition 2025, which is one of the most important platforms specialized in defense and security industries in the region, and witnesses a wide presence of official and military delegations and major international companies.

As part of his inaugural tour, he visited the UAE pavilion participating in the exhibition, which is organized by the ADNEC Group with the support of the Tawazun Defense Empowerment Council and the Ministry of Defence.
The pavilion includes a group of the most prominent national companies leading in the fields of defense and security, namely the Tawazun Defense Empowerment Council, EDGE Group, Caleds Company, GAL Company, and AMMRK Company, in addition to the “IDEX” and “NAVDEX” exhibitions.

Emirati companies showcased their latest advanced defense solutions and innovative technologies in the fields of operational excellence, air and land systems, cybersecurity, maintenance and technical support, and advanced military manufacturing, reflecting the depth of defense cooperation between the UAE and the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the growth of their partnership.

The UAE pavilion witnessed a series of visits from senior leaders and officials from both countries, including Lieutenant General Issa Saif bin Ablan Al Mazrouei, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Hamad Obaid Al Zaabi, UAE Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Major General Yousef Al-Halami, Commander of the Land Forces, Dr. Nasser Hamid Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Tawazun Council for Defense Empowerment, Colonel Khalifa Ahmed Al Hameli, UAE Military Attaché in Egypt, and Major General Mukhtar Abdul Latif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization. In Egypt.

Visitors praised the advanced level of organization of the UAE pavilion, the great development witnessed by the national defense industries, and the pivotal role of the UAE in supporting defense innovation and developing advanced industries.

The activities of the first day witnessed the signing of a number of memorandums of understanding with leading Egyptian institutions in the defense industries sector, including the signing of three memorandums of understanding by AMRC with the aircraft factory of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, the engine factory, the digital manufacturing center, and the Helwan factory for advanced industries.

Two memorandums were also signed between GAL and the Arab Organization for Industrialization, while Abu Dhabi Aviation Group and the Arab Organization for Industrialization signed six memorandums of understanding during the first day of the exhibition.
These memorandums aim to enhance industrial and defense cooperation between the two sides, exchange experiences, and support joint efforts in the fields of military industrialization and technical development.

The UAE’s participation in the Egyptian Defense Exhibition 2025 confirms the UAE’s commitment to expanding its strategic partnerships in the region, enhancing the presence of its advanced defense industries on the international scene, and supporting efforts to develop the defense and security industries sector in the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt.
