Chaired by Moushira Khattab.. Details of the first meetings of the Board of Trustees of the Mansoura Children’s Film Festival

The Board of Trustees of the Mansoura International Children’s Film Festival held its first meeting, headed by Ambassador Moushira Khattab, and in the presence of the artist Ahmed Wafik, along with members of the Board of Trustees, to discuss the latest preparations for the first edition of the relevant children’s cinema festival.
The meeting discussed the most prominent preparations of the festival to hold its first session from 9 to 14 February next, and how it would come out in a way that befits the history of Dakahlia Governorate and the city of Mansoura, where the festival’s president revealed that it had received nearly 80 So far, there have been films for children from various parts of the world, and the door is still open to receive other films, while work is currently underway within the festival’s technical office, headed by director Ibrahim Saad, to select the films participating in the festival’s various competitions. The meeting also discussed the various festival activities, such as training workshops for children from 6 to 18 years old, as well as seminars that discuss children’s issues, and the most prominent names nominated for honor in the first session.
The Mansoura International Children’s Film Festival includes three competitions, including Two international competitions: the first for short narrative and documentary films, the second for animation films, and the third competition will be dedicated to films made by children from various parts of Egypt.
It is noteworthy that the Mansoura International Children’s Film Festival will hold its first session from February 9 to 14, 2026, under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Culture, Dakahlia Governorate, and the Film Syndicate.
