Reham Abdel Ghafour receives special honor from the Tony Curtis Festival for… "New Year’s map"
The film “New Year’s Map” won An appreciation award at the Tony Curtis International Festival in Hungary, in a new achievement for the industry.
The artist Reham Abdel Ghafour shined during the festival activities, where she received special honor for her distinguished role in the film.
The film continues to achieve a remarkable international presence before its official release in Egyptian cinemas, as the public is waiting to see it starting from December 24 in all cinemas.
Reham Abdel Ghafour appeared in the official announcement The film has a different look, as it presents the character of a woman with Down Syndrome. The events of the film revolve around a woman with Down Syndrome who embarks on an arduous journey across Europe with her sister’s son, to search for his mother, who disappears after his father’s sudden death. She enters into a series of situations that exceed her abilities and reveal deep human aspects.
Participating in the film’s lead are: Reham Abdel Ghafour, Mohamed Mamdouh, Asma Abu Al-Yazid, Hanadi Muhanna, and the rising artist Aser. It is written by Youssef Wagdy, directed by Rami. The Soldier, produced by Ahmed Hamdy.
