The Egyptian national team wins two medals in the Arab Sailing Championship
The Egyptian sailing team succeeded in winning two medals in the Arab Sailing Championship, which was recently held in the State of Kuwait.
Karma Walid won the gold medal in the ILCA 4 model, while Laila Diaa won the bronze medal in the Optimist model.
While Maryam Ehab came in fourth place, only one point behind third place in the ILCA 6 model.
For its part, the Egyptian Federation was keen Al Sheraa, headed by Engineer Ahmed Habash and members of the Board of Directors, congratulated the team for the honorable participation in the Arab Championship.
Habash said that these results are just the beginning, to achieve higher and greater results at the continental and international levels.
Habash stressed that the federation seeks to spread the game in Egypt extensively, in order for distinguished players to emerge at all levels.
