The President of Azerbaijan receives Zayed bin Hamdan bin Zayed
Baku, 6 December / WAM / His Excellency Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, received today His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, at the head of the state delegation visiting the Republic of Azerbaijan, to discuss ways to enhance economic and investment cooperation in a number of vital sectors.
At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency Ilham Aliyev welcomed His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the accompanying delegation, expressing his great appreciation for the relations of friendship and cooperation that unite the two friendly countries.
For his part, His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan conveyed to His Excellency the Azerbaijani President the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” and his wishes to the Azerbaijani people for continued progress and prosperity. While His Excellency Ilham Aliyev conveyed his greetings to His Highness the President, “may God protect him,” and his wishes for the UAE and its people further development and progress.
During the meeting, opportunities for expanding cooperation between private sector institutions in both countries were reviewed, including stimulating joint investments and supporting innovative projects, as a contribution to building a more diversified and sustainable integrated economic system based on advanced technology solutions.
The Emirati delegation accompanying His Highness includes Sayed Basr Shuaib, CEO and Managing Director of International Holding Company; Ali Rashid Al Rashidi, CEO of International Resources Holding; Ajay Bhatia, CEO, Sirius International Holdings; And Fouad Darwish, CEO and Managing Director of Palms Sport.
