Within 3 hours… 3.5 million meals were prepared within the “Mohammed bin Rashid Humanitarian Ship”

The volunteers participating in preparing the “Mohammed bin Rashid Humanitarian Ark” achieved a remarkable achievement, after 1,700 volunteers were able to prepare 3.5 million meals in just 3 hours, in a step that reflects the strength of community participation and precise organization that characterizes the humanitarian initiative.

Meal preparation work began at nine o’clock in the morning at the Dubai Exhibition Center – Expo, amid careful organization, where the volunteers were divided into integrated work groups, whose tasks were divided between packing, sorting and packaging, which contributed to achieving this record rate of production, and at a rhythm that reflects the great interaction of community members and their desire to contribute to supporting the people of Gaza.

This effort comes within the campaign to prepare 10 million food meals within the “Mohammed bin Rashid Humanitarian Ark”, which is implemented by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives in cooperation with Operation Gallant Knight 3, to provide urgent food support to affected families in the sector.

The event witnessed a large presence of volunteers of different ages and nationalities, which turned the hall into a major humanitarian workshop working at an accelerated pace towards one goal of alleviating the suffering of the people of Gaza.

Preparation operations are scheduled to continue during the coming hours, in preparation for completing the rest of the meals and loading them onto the ship that will depart for the Gaza Strip in the coming days.
