Minister of Health: The Egyptian person is the true pillar of building the state and achieving sustainable development
Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, chaired a high-level meeting to review and develop the human development axis within the “national narrative of economic development,” stressing that the Egyptian person is the true pillar of building the state and achieving sustainable development.
Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, spokesman for the ministry, explained that the proposal It monitors the current situation of human development through the contributions of each ministry, and reviews the major achievements in presidential initiatives and national projects according to the “life cycle” methodology, while developing a comprehensive vision for future initiatives and programs that are based on three pillars: investing in human capabilities, expanding participation opportunities, and raising the quality of life.
He added that the Minister directed that the proposal be enriched with all the health achievements achieved through presidential initiatives in each age stage, setting clear goals and precise performance indicators for the coming years in the areas of health, education, social protection, women’s empowerment, and improving labor market outcomes, while addressing challenges related to financing, human resources, institutional arrangements, and legislation.
