Latifa Bint Mohammed meets with the most prominent business and philanthropic leaders in Africa

DUBAI, 7 DECEMBER WAM / Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairwoman of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, met with a high-level delegation that includes an elite group of senior businessmen and women and leaders of charitable work in Africa, to discuss opportunities for cooperation in the fields of culture, creativity and social development.
The meeting discussed the importance of consolidating cultural and economic ties, and exchanging visions aimed at promoting innovation and supporting various initiatives with a positive impact.
Her Highness received the delegation headed by His Excellency Badr Jaafar, Special Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Business and Charitable Affairs. During the meeting, Her Highness stressed the importance of strengthening effective partnerships and consolidating dialogue with influential leaders who contribute to shaping the future of innovation and social, cultural, and economic development. Highlighting Dubai’s role as a global center for creativity, knowledge exchange and cross-border cooperation, and affirming the emirate’s commitment to building bridges of communication and cooperation with various entities and individuals with the aim of supporting talent and empowering the creativity system, which contributes to advancing comprehensive and sustainable development.
Her Highness also expressed her appreciation for the delegation’s contributions, praising the depth of cultural and historical ties and shared values that contribute to strengthening relations between the UAE and Africa.
Her Highness was accompanied during the meeting by His Excellency Mohammed Lootah, Director General of Dubai Chambers, His Excellency Jamal bin Huwaireb, Executive Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, and Mansour Lootah, Executive Director of the Support Operations Sector and CEO of Artificial Intelligence at Dubai Culture.
