The Egyptian-Palestinian film “We’ve Lost a Show” won the award. The film represents the first feature-length documentary experience for both Mai Saad and Ahmed Al-Danaf, Fami Saad is an Egyptian filmmaker who began her career as an assistant director, while the film is the first feature-length documentary directing experience for Gazan cinematographer Ahmed Al-Danaf, who won the Youssef Shaheen Award in Cairo Film Festival 2024 for his short film A School Day.
