After a violent earthquake and tsunami, 30 people were injured and 28,000 were evacuated in Japan

At least 30 people were injured after an earthquake measuring 7.2 on the Richter scale struck the area surrounding Aomori Prefecture, north of The earthquake prompted people to evacuate their homes, while the Japanese Meteorological Agency warned of the possibility of tsunami waves reaching a height of up to three metres.
