Hamad Al Sharqi receives the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chinese Yasha Group and they discuss enhancing cooperation
Fujairah, December 9 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, received at Rumaila Palace, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chinese Yasha Group – Mr. Ding Zhiqing and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the UAE and the People’s Republic of China were discussed, especially in the areas of sustainability and the development of smart cities and related industries, in a way that serves the common interests of the two friendly countries.
His Highness listened to a detailed explanation about the group’s work in the areas of improving the efficiency of buildings, developing smart cities and sustainable development, and promoting innovation among young people, and highlighted its capabilities in the fields of green construction and digital technologies. He was briefed on the “smart environment” system that the company is developing, which contributes to supporting the transition towards smarter cities and the ability to interact and sustain, through advanced solutions for traffic management and improving energy efficiency in buildings.
For his part, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Yasha Group expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Ruler of Fujairah, praising the support and flexible investment facilities that he provides to entrepreneurs in this context, which aim to achieve sustainable economic integration, and his aspiration to cooperate with the emirate to contribute to developing the efficiency of buildings and cultural projects, by integrating the local character with modern architectural visions that enhance cultural identity, stressing the importance of architecture as a means of cultural communication.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Mohammed Al-Dhanhani, Director of the Emiri Diwan in Fujairah, and His Excellency Mohammed Al-Afkham, Director-General of the Fujairah Municipality.
