Global harmony… Ethiopian residents perform folk dances to the accompaniment of drums
Today, the Ministry of Information launched the activities of as part of the initiative "2"which is organized in cooperation with the General Entertainment Authority, and is held in Al Suwaidi Park, one of the areas of the Riyadh Season, in the presence of visitors of various nationalities.

The events include artistic concerts, popular performances, cultural pavilions, and entertainment segments, with the participation of an elite group of artists and influencers, and about 50 exhibitors and performing arts performers.
The Ethiopian residents enjoyed participating in performing various dances in the event arena, accompanied by traditional instruments and folk drums. The first day’s activities also presented examples of Ethiopian handicrafts, plastic drawings, traditional costumes, and popular foods, in addition to displaying daily hospitality rituals in Ethiopia, such as coffee preparation sessions (jabna) and others.

In the evening, the main stage activities began with the participation of the first day’s artists, who presented a variety of popular and national songs. And the famous works that the audience interacted with, amid an enthusiastic atmosphere that dominated the events stage.
The Ethiopian Culture Days activities will continue tomorrow with a busy program that includes new singing and popular performances, and various heritage displays, in addition to interactive pavilions that allow visitors to learn about the features of Ethiopian culture and its historical development.
