Abdullah bin Zayed receives the Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs
ABU DHABI, 11 December / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, received today in Abu Dhabi, His Excellency Ayman Al-Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs in the sisterly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
During the meeting, they discussed the established fraternal relations between the UAE and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and ways to develop bilateral cooperation frameworks in various sectors related to the development priorities of the two countries.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed the visit of His Excellency Ayman Al-Safadi, stressing the depth of fraternal relations between the UAE and the sisterly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
His Highness and His Excellency Ayman Al-Safadi also discussed all developments in the Middle East region, especially the current situation in the Gaza Strip.
In this regard, the two sides stressed the importance of moving forward with the implementation of the plan of His Excellency US President Donald Trump, in all its stages and entitlements, in order to achieve sustainable peace and security in the region and meet the aspirations of its people for development and prosperity.
The two sides also discussed the escalation in the occupied West Bank, and stressed the need to stop tension and revive political efforts to achieve a two-state solution in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions.
His Highness and His Excellency Ayman Al-Safadi discussed a number of regional and international issues of common interest, and exchanged views on them.
