Capital of Egypt Cup Al-Ahly faces Enppi today at Al-Salam Stadium
The first football team of Al-Ahly Club will meet today, Friday, with Enppi in the framework of the first round matches of the first group in the Egyptian Capital Cup Championship (the Association). The match begins at exactly eight o’clock in the evening at Al-Salam Stadium.
The tournament began the 2021-2022 season with the establishment of the Professional Clubs Association, and is held in international stops between the league clubs. In the past four seasons, Modern Sport won the first edition of the tournament, and Ceramica Cleopatra won the next three editions.
This season 2025-2026, the fifth edition will be held with the participation of twenty-one clubs divided into three groups, with the first and second of each group advancing to the quarter-finals with the two best teams in third place.
The first group: Al-Ahly, Talaea El-Geish, Enppi, Pharco, Ghazl El Mahalla, Arab Contractors, Ceramica Cleopatra.
The second group: Pyramids, National Bank, El Gouna, Petrojet, Modern Sport, Wadi Degla, Ismaily.
The third group: Zamalek, Z, Al-Masry, Border Guard, Ismailia Electricity, Al-Ittihad Alexandria, Smouha.
