Al-Wahda announces the departure of coach Moraes…and Sharjah is his next destination

Al Wahda Football Club announced the departure of Portuguese coach Jose Moraes from training the first football team for personal reasons, at a time when a source confirmed to “Emirates Al-Youm” that he was close to training the Sharjah team.
The Al Wahda Club Football Company stated in a press statement on its official account on the “X” platform that the Football Company announces the end of the contractual relationship with the first team coach, Jose Moraes, based on the coach’s request and for personal reasons related to him, in accordance with the terms of the contract concluded between the two parties.
The decision to leave Moraes from Al-Anabi came unexpectedly, especially since the team is performing at great levels this season, as it qualified for the round of 16 in the AFC Champions League for the Elite, ranked second in the ADNOC Professional League, qualified for the quarter-finals in the President’s Cup, and also came close to qualifying for the final of the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup after beating Al-Jazira in the first leg with three unanswered goals.
