Women’s Football| "Ahly 2007" The Arab Contractors face the Republic Championship
The junior women’s football team of Al-Ahly Club, born in 2007, will meet its guest, the Arab Contractors, in the match that brings together the two teams today, Saturday, in the eleventh round of the Republic Championship.
The team enters the confrontation, aspiring to continue its strong performances and strengthen its lead in the standings. The match is scheduled to start at 2:30 pm today at Al-Ahly Stadium in New Cairo.
Al-Ahly collected 28 points in its journey in the tournament after winning nine matches and drawing one match, during its journey in the competition, which it began with a victory over Smouha 7-0, over Arab Contractors 7-1, over Al-Qantara Al-Bayda 8-0, over Enppi 3-0, over Al-Tayaran 11-0, and over Al-Talaea El-Geish. 3-0, and over Matareya 13-0, before drawing with Wadi Degla 1-1, then came back to win over Ra 4-0, and Smouha 7-0, scoring 63 goals, and conceding only two goals.
The Republic Championship, born in 2007, is held in its first stage with a league system of two groups, each group includes nine teams competing among themselves in two “home and away” rounds, and qualify.
