Bondi Beach shooting ‘shocking and disturbing’

Ten people were killed as a result of the shooting that occurred Sunday at Bondi Beach in Sydney, according to Australian police.

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said that the shooting that occurred on Sunday at Bondi Beach in Sydney was “shocking and disturbing.”

Albanese added in a statement published by his office: “Police and emergency crews are on the scene and working to save lives. My sympathies are with everyone affected.”

He continued: “I urge people in the vicinity of the scene to adhere to the instructions issued by the New South Wales State Police.”

The Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) reported that one of the shooters was among the dead, while 12 other people were injured.
