We will face Morocco with the same scenario as the matches between Jordan, Egypt and Algeria

The coach of the Romanian national football team, Olario Cosmin, confirmed that the expected confrontation against the Moroccan national team tomorrow will not be easy, given the strength of the Moroccan national team, stressing at the same time the national team’s readiness to compete in the semi-final match of the Arab Cup.
Cosmin explained that the team seeks to play a strong match against a strong competitor the size of Morocco, stressing that it will play the match in the same scenario in which it faced strong teams in the tournament, such as Jordan, Egypt and Algeria.
Cosmin said during the introductory press conference for the match, which was held today, Sunday: “We are facing a very important confrontation against a strong team that includes a group of distinguished players, and we have previously faced strong teams in this tournament, such as Jordan, Egypt, and now Morocco.”
The team’s coach revealed that the team’s playing style has evolved compared to the beginning of its journey in the tournament, noting that the team is witnessing continuous improvement in terms of performance and technical level. He added: “We always strive to control the course of the game, defend in the right way, and work to find appropriate solutions for each match.”
Cosmin continued: “Reaching this stage of the tournament makes us rely a lot on the mental development of the players, and although we will face a strong and large team, this challenge gives us additional motivation. We have some concerns before tomorrow’s match, and this is normal. We strive as much as possible to restore the players’ full readiness, and I am confident that they will give their best.”
Regarding the health condition of some players, such as Luan Pereira and Yahya Nader, Cosmin explained that they are being monitored, and a meeting will be held with the medical staff to determine their readiness to participate in the match.
The team coach pointed to the great public support that the team received during its participation in the tournament, stressing that this support gives the players a great moral incentive.
In response to a question about the technical differences between North African and Asian teams, Cosmin said:
“For us in the UAE national team, we seek to benefit technically from playing against these teams, which have players who are accustomed to playing football in the streets and on the coast, which gives them high physical readiness.”
Cosmin stressed his keenness as a coach to deal with all the details of the match, and to work on not conceding goals, considering that having an additional day of rest represents an important gain before any confrontation.
Regarding the Algeria match in the quarter-finals, he said: “Playing extra time was very difficult, and this happened due to influential refereeing errors, as the team was deprived of a clear penalty kick in the 95th minute, which should have been awarded via the video assistant referee (VAR) technology, which would not have decided the match before reaching the penalty shootout, but the referee did not award it.”
