Registration is open for the second round of the Dubai Rowing Race
Dubai, December 16 / WAM / The Dubai International Marine Sports Club announced the opening of registration for the second round of the Dubai Local Rowing Boat Race, scheduled for next Saturday at the Dubai Healthcare City Promenade “Phase Two” in the Al Jaddaf area in Dubai, within the local and open categories.
The organizing committee approved holding two rounds for the local category, and two categories open to government and private institutions, with the possibility of increasing the number of rounds according to the number of registered boats, as the first round witnessed the participation of 42 boats, including 26 boats in the local category.
The organizing committee announced new organizational arrangements for the second round, most notably requiring all boats to clearly display the bearing number on the back patch, and to conduct technical checks before the start of the race, in addition to organizing a lottery to determine the locations of the contestants on the starting line, in a way that ensures transparency and equal opportunities among the participants.
