Emergency teams team " Ghaith Ajman" It doubles its efforts during bad weather
Ajman, December 19 / WAM / The emergency teams within the “Ghaith Ajman” team have doubled their efforts in the emirate’s sites, through 4 field work teams, working to monitor rainwater collection sites and support field readiness, within an operating system that relies on a rainwater drainage network with a length of 81.65 km, and the operation of 28 pumping stations supported by 72 pumps, with the participation of 60 engineers and specialists, and 173 support employees.
The field teams continue to carry out their tasks according to direct coordination between the water, roads and emergency teams, which contributes to accelerating water drainage operations, monitoring vital sites, and maintaining the flow of traffic.
The Municipality and Planning Department confirmed its continued readiness to follow up on developments in the weather situation, and to harness the available capabilities and resources, to ensure the continuity of services and enhance the efficiency of infrastructure in the Emirate of Ajman.
Coinciding with the weather condition and rainfall in the Emirate of Ajman, His Excellency Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Municipality and Planning Department, inspected the progress of field work in a number of rainwater drainage projects and stations, to see the readiness of the system and the efficiency of dealing with the rainy situation.
