The Indian team wins the men’s and women’s titles in the tournament "Rollball" Global

Dubai, December 19 / WAM / The seventh World Roller Ball Championship concluded yesterday, with the Indian team winning the men’s and women’s titles after winning the final of both tournaments over its Kenyan counterpart with a score of 3-2, 11-10.

The tournament, organized by the Emirates Sports for All Federation under the supervision of the International Rollball Federation, was held from December 14 to 18 at the Maktoum Bin Mohammed Al Maktoum Hall at Shabab Al Ahli Club in Dubai, with the participation of 15 countries: the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Argentina, Egypt, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Germany, France, India, Mali, Iran, Kenya, the Philippines, Pakistan, Poland, and Sri Lanka.

The winners were crowned by Saeed Al-Ajel, President of the Emirates Sports for All Federation, Manush Kumari, Director of the International Rollball Federation, and Ahmed Al-Salman, Member of the Federation’s Board of Directors.

Al-Ajel stressed that hosting the tournament for the first time in cooperation with the International Federation is a strategic step that paves the way for adopting plans to spread the game in the country and support its development, especially since the distinguished infrastructure paves the way for its spread and the formation of men’s and women’s teams.
