Three US police officers were injured Friday night in Rochester, New York City, while responding to a report of domestic violence, officials said..

City Police Chief David Smith added in a press conference: “Several shots were fired” after Rochester police officers responded to the report and headed to the scene..

The three wounded policemen are undergoing treatment in hospital. Details about their cases have not been revealed .
