The UAE does not seek leadership, but rather works with its partners for a stable region free of extremism

Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, the diplomatic advisor to His Highness the President of the State, said in a blog post on the “X” platform: “I followed the fierce campaigns against my country, some from expected sources, and others from parties I did not expect. Campaigns that mostly ignored the internal circumstances of the cases they dealt with, to justify their negligence and escape forward, so they remained in general without results.”

Gargash added: “It is not the UAE that bears the desire of the Sudanese for peace and civil rule, but rather it is their demands, and it is not the UAE that calls for the right to self-determination in the south, but rather the will of its people. The UAE does not seek leadership or influence, but rather works with its partners for a stable, prosperous region free of extremism.”

He concluded by saying: “With the UAE… the partnership is built on trust, clarity and equality.”
