Sharjah Police launches a new category of license plates for classic vehicles and bicycles
Sharjah, December 23 / WAM / Today, the Sharjah Police General Command introduced a new category of license plates for classic vehicles and motorcycles, including the first category, as part of enhancing the visual identity of the Emirate of Sharjah and in line with the continuous modernization of the design of vehicle number plates. In a way that embodies the cultural dimension of the emirate.
The “Leadership” explained that the new plates come in the form approved for vehicle plates according to the identity of the Emirate of Sharjah, and include the first and special category for classic vehicles and the first category for motorcycles, in line with modern standards while preserving the heritage character of this category of vehicles.
Sharjah Police said that the introduction of the new category comes within the framework of providing quality and distinguished services to owners of classic vehicles and motorcycles. These numbers will be allocated for sale in cooperation with Emirates Auction Company to enhance customers’ experience through multiple options characterized by quality and diversity and consistent with institutional trends in developing the traffic services system.
It stressed its constant keenness to continue developing and improving its services in accordance with best practices, which contributes to achieving customer satisfaction and enhances the civilized appearance of the Emirate of Sharjah.
