Abdullah Al Ali champion of the state cycling race "Against the clock"

Sharjah, April 5, 2018 (WAM) – Abdullah Jassim Al Ali, a player from the Emirates team, was crowned champion of the “Against the Clock” State Cycling Race for the adult category, which was held today for a distance of 30 kilometers in the Mahafiz area in Sharjah, with the participation of 37 competitors from various clubs, amid strong competition among the elite riders, confirming his superiority after a distinguished performance that he finished with a time of 36:17 minutes.
Mohammed Al Mutaiwi, a player for the Emirates Club, came in second place with a time of 37:48 minutes, while Abdullah Ali Al Hammadi, a player for Abu Dhabi Club, came in third place with a time of 38:08 minutes.
In the U-23 category, Youssef Abdullah Amiri, a player for Al-Nasr Club, won first place, followed by Mohammed Al-Alili from Shabab Al-Ahly Club in second place, while Zayed Sultan from Abu Dhabi Club came in third place.
In the category of people with disabilities (H), Ayed Al Ahbabi won first place, Theban Al Muhairi came in second place, while Rashid Al Dhaheri came in third place.
In Category (C), Abdullah Al-Balushi won first place, followed by Ahmed Al-Badwawi in second place, and Salem Al-Junaibi came in third place.
The winners were crowned in the presence of Mansour Bouasiba, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Cycling Federation, Youssef Mohammed Mirza, Vice President and Chairman of the Technical Committee, Yahya Matar Al Muhairi, Chairman of the Referees Committee, and Mohammed bin Shafie, Director of the National Teams.
