The authority explained that the financial fee for delivering water or sanitation services to the residential sector is determined based on the building area, as water delivery fees for buildings whose area does not exceed 675 square meters are (3,000 riyals), and for sanitation (5,000 riyals), with the addition of progressive fees. For larger areas, while actual implementation costs are calculated for areas exceeding 3,000 square metres.

It indicated that service delivery fees for the non-residential sector start from (15,000 riyals) for water service and (20,000 riyals) for sanitation for small areas, with gradual increases applied according to the building area, in addition to calculating the actual implementation costs and the value of studying the application.
With regard to the government sector, the Authority indicated that the fees Water delivery starts at (15,000 riyals) and sanitation from (20,000 riyals), with increases related to the building area, provided that the actual costs are calculated for large projects, without imposing additional fees on the units.
The Authority confirmed the addition of a fee of (1,000 riyals) for each additional building unit for both water and sanitation services in the residential sector, noting that the diameters of the meters are determined according to the approved schedules, and that the minimum implementation costs are The actual is calculated for specific areas according to each sector.

It also stated that the installation of connections by the real estate developer requires payment of (1,000 riyals) in exchange for installing the meter or recording data, or both, within the approved regulatory procedures.
This update comes within the framework of the Authority’s efforts to enhance the sustainability of water and sanitation services, raise the efficiency of the infrastructure, and improve the quality of services provided to beneficiaries in various sectors.
