The start of the stage competitions"24" From the program "Cumshot"

Abu Dhabi, December 24 / WAM / Yesterday, Al Raha Beach Theater in Abu Dhabi witnessed the competitions of the first evening of the “24” stage of the “Million Poet” program in its 12th season, which is produced by the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority under the slogan “Our Poem is One”, as part of its strategy aimed at preserving the literary and poetic heritage.
This comes after the completion of the contract for the finalists from the previous stage, whose competitions took place in eight episodes during the past two months and ended with (24) poets getting the opportunity to complete the competition’s journey through its remaining stages.
The episode, which was broadcast live on the Abu Dhabi and Baynounah channels, was attended by His Excellency Fares Khalaf Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority, His Excellency Obaid Khalfan Al Mazrouei, Executive Director of the Festivals and Events Sector at the Authority, His Excellency Mohammed Jumaa Al Mansouri, Executive Director of the Support Services Sector at the Authority, and a number of officials, along with members of the Program Advisory Committee, Turki Al Muraikhi and Badr Safouq, and an audience of media figures and Nabati poetry lovers.
The jury, consisting of Dr. Sultan Al-Amimi, Dr. Ghassan Al-Hassan, and Hamad Al-Saeed, announced that the poets Abdullah Muhammad Al-Ajmi from Kuwait and Abdul Majeed Saqr Al-Azza Al-Subaie from Saudi Arabia qualified for the next stage, with a score of 49 out of 50 for Al-Ajmi, and 48 degrees for Al-Subaie.
In the rest of the results, Musab bin Ali Al-Futaisi received 47 degrees, Muhammad Munawar Al-Nafi’i and Muhammad Nayef Al-Shatri Al-Mutairi each obtained 45 degrees, while Alwan Jalloub Al-Shammari received 40 degrees, waiting for one of them to qualify for the next stage by public vote during this week through the website and application of the “Poet of a Million” program.
It was also announced at the beginning of the episode, presented by media figures Faisal Al-Jassim and Salama Al-Muhairi, that the poet Amer Al-Aydhi from Saudi Arabia qualified for the next stage by audience vote in the previous episode, and he obtained a score of 92 out of 100, which is the sum of the jury’s scores and the audience’s vote scores from the last evening of the “48” stage.
The jury announced the addition of a new standard for the competition in the “24” stage, as Dr. Sultan Al-Amimi indicated that in each episode of this stage, each poet will be required to write three verses corresponding to one of two poets to be identified, so that the competition will be based on the same meter, rhyme, and subject matter for poems determined by the committee, during the second half of the episode.
The session’s activities included a performance of authentic Emirati folk arts presented by the Abu Dhabi Folklore Troupe, led by Mubarak Al Otaiba, which told a story from the reality of sea life with vocal harmony for the performers in the art of “Al Ahla”, which relies primarily on the strength of the performers’ throats and their authentic Nabataean poetic repertoire, away from any rhythmic or melodic tools.
