“Mohammed bin Rashid Housing” wins an international award in “Ethical Procurement”

The Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment won the Corporate Excellence Award in Partnerships and Ethical Procurement presented by the European Institute for Procurement Management (EIPM), becoming the first housing entity in the world to receive this award.

The corporation explained that the achievement and partnership with the European Institute for Procurement Management reflects its commitment to applying the highest international standards in governance and procurement, developing institutional capabilities and building competencies, in a way that supports the sustainability of housing services and keeps pace with the future aspirations of citizens in the Emirate of Dubai.

The Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment signed a memorandum of understanding with the European Institute for Procurement Management (EIPM), with the aim of developing and strengthening institutional capabilities in the fields of procurement, supplier management and partnerships, and supporting competency building through specialized training programs and the exchange of knowledge and experiences.

The memorandum aims to enable the organization to adopt the latest global practices in procurement and supply chain management, and to enhance the governance system and innovation in institutional processes related to housing projects and services, which will reflect positively on the quality of performance and the efficiency of resource management.

The cooperation also comes within the framework of the organization’s keenness to invest in human capital, as 29 of the organization’s employees obtained the ethical and responsible procurement certificate accredited by the European Institute for Purchasing Management, which enhances their professional readiness and contributes to consolidating the culture of responsible practices within the organization.
