The Head of State arrives in Pakistan on an official visit

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, arrived today in Islamabad on an official visit to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

Upon his arrival at Noor Khan Military Base, His Highness was received by His Excellency Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of Pakistan, and a number of ministers and senior officials.

The plane carrying His Highness was accompanied by a squadron of military aircraft upon entering Pakistani airspace, welcoming and saluting His Highness.

An official reception ceremony was held for His Highness, where the national anthem of the two countries was played, artillery fired 21 shots, and a group of honor guards lined up to salute His Highness.

The military band and traditional bands also performed, while groups of children lined up waving the flags of the two countries and chanting welcoming phrases.

The delegation accompanying His Highness during the visit includes Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Advisor to His Highness the President of the State, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor to His Highness the President of the State, a number of ministers and senior state officials, and Salem Al Zaabi, the UAE Ambassador to Pakistan.
