After a heroic performance with 10 players, Egypt is the first to qualify for the African Cup

The Egyptian national team became the first team to qualify for the round of 16 in the African Cup of Nations after defeating the South African national team, “Bafana Bafana”, 1-0, in the match that brought them together today, Friday, in the second round of the second group.
The Egyptian team advanced with a clean goal scored by Mohamed Salah from a penalty kick in the last minute of regular time in the first half.
The Egyptian team suffered a painful blow after Mohamed Hani received the red card in the second minute of stoppage time, but it was able to maintain its lead throughout the course of the second half to snatch three additional points after a heroic performance.
The Egyptian team raised its score to six points at the top of the standings, as it won in the first round over the Zimbabwe team 2-1.
On the other hand, the South African team’s tally stopped at three points, which it had collected from its 2-1 victory over the Angolan team in the first round.
