المملكة: Pakistan: We support Saudi Arabia’s efforts to ensure peace and stability in Yemen
The Republic of Islamic Pakistan expressed its full support for the diplomatic efforts made by The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to ensure peace and stability in The Republic of Yemen, praising in this regard the efforts of the United Arab Emirates, stressing the necessity of preserving the unity and territorial integrity of Yemen.
The Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement today: "Pakistan is closely following the recent developments in Yemen, hoping that Yemeni stakeholders will avoid any unilateral steps that may lead to further escalation of the situation."
Pakistan called on all Yemeni parties to participate constructively and in good faith in order to reach a comprehensive and negotiated political solution based on agreed upon standards, expressing its hope that the ongoing diplomatic efforts will result in concrete steps towards achieving lasting peace in the country and putting an end to the suffering of the Yemeni people.
