From fat to a tight figure… How have tummy tuck surgeries evolved?

In the seventh episode of the “Nader Beauty” program on the Fuchsia website, Dr. Nader Saab reviewed the latest tummy tuck techniques that have been developed to provide natural and practical results and restore self-confidence.
Saab explained that sagging is not limited to the skin, but sometimes includes weakness in the abdominal muscles, as a result of pregnancy or aging. He points out that this condition affects self-confidence, as some people avoid tight clothes or swimwear due to embarrassment.
Saab emphasized that diets, exercise, lasers, and injections may sometimes not be enough, especially when there is excess skin or deep muscle sagging, as liposuction alone does not give a tightened appearance.
In the past, operations were based on skin tightening and suction only, with a long recovery period and less natural results. Today, modern technologies rely on artificial intelligence to determine the ideal body map before the operation, while working on: dissolving fat and tightening the skin, strengthening the abdominal muscles, and sculpting the waist. The wound is also placed in a low area so that it disappears with the natural line of the underwear, giving a natural aesthetic appearance without obvious traces.
Saab mentioned the case of a woman who previously underwent liposuction and sculpting, but she did not get the desired result due to excess skin, sagging muscles, and the presence of a hernia after pregnancy. After undergoing a full tummy tuck with muscle tightening and improving the shape of the waist, her entire body shape was transformed, and she now had a flat stomach and a sculpted figure, regaining her confidence in her appearance for the first time in years.
Saab pointed out that the operation takes about two hours under general anesthesia, and the recovery period does not exceed a week, with long-term results and an ideal shape that is close to what the patient desires.
