المملكة: The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah suspends the Umrah company and its external agent for housing violations

The Ministry explained that it noticed the arrival of a number of pilgrims to the Kingdom without providing them with approved housing, despite the documentation of these services within the contractual programmes. Which necessitated taking immediate legal measures against the violating company and the external agent contracting with it, in accordance with the approved regulatory frameworks.
Rights of Umrah pilgrims
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah indicated that the measures taken aim to guarantee the rights of affected Umrah pilgrims, and prevent the recurrence of such violations, in a way that enhances the quality of services provided to the guests of God.
The Ministry confirmed that this measure comes within the framework of its ongoing efforts to follow up on the commitment of Umrah companies and institutions to implement their approved contracts. Accurately and professionally, and improving the quality of services provided to Guests of God, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 aimed at improving the pilgrim’s experience at all stages of his journey within the Kingdom.
Quality of services
It stressed that it will not tolerate any negligence or breach of contractual obligations towards Umrah pilgrims, stressing that the rights of the guests of God are a top priority, and that the quality of services provided represents a red line that is not allowed to be crossed.
The Ministry called on all companies Umrah institutions must fully adhere to the approved controls and instructions, and provide services according to the contracted programs, which contributes to enhancing the quality of services and achieving the highest levels of satisfaction for Umrah performers and visitors.
