Exempting public parking users in Sharjah from fees tomorrow, Thursday

The Sharjah City Municipality announced that users of public parking lots in various regions of the emirate will be exempted from fees, on Thursday, January 1, 2026, in celebration of the New Year 2026.

The municipality clarified that the exemption decision excludes smart parking lots and public parking lots subject to fees throughout the week (including Fridays and official holidays).

The municipality indicated that the public can infer these parking lots through the blue information signs installed in those areas, which indicate that parking is subject to fees on weekdays and official holidays.

The Sharjah City Municipality called on the public to adhere to the rules of correct parking and not obstruct traffic, to ensure the smooth flow of traffic for everyone during the holiday period.
