The Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority enhances its readiness to secure New Year’s celebrations in 22 locations
Abu Dhabi, December 31, 2017 – The Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority has strengthened its readiness to welcome the New Year 2026, through an integrated system to deal with any emergency during the New Year holiday, in coordination with strategic partners and relevant authorities, ensuring the highest levels of preparedness and response to emergencies.
The Authority has intensified the presence of its field teams in 22 major locations for launching fireworks, distributed across Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Al Dhafra, to secure all New Year celebrations, ensure the safety of the public, and increase the efficiency of response to various emergency situations.
The authority also called on land trip enthusiasts to adhere to public safety measures in the camps, stressing the importance of cooperating with civil defense teams by immediately reporting any emergency via the emergency number (999), making way for emergency vehicles, and avoiding gathering at accident sites, which contributes to quickly dealing with reports and protecting lives and property.
