OPEC+ intends to maintain the suspension of increasing production despite the events in Venezuela


Delegates from countries in alliance stated "OPEC+"for agency "Bloomberg"today, Sunday, that the coalition will adhere to its plans to stop increases in production Oilduring the first quarter of 2026, indicating that production policy will not be affected by the escalation of tensions in Venezuelaand other regions.

And The coalition, led by Saudi Arabia and Russia, held its monthly video conference today, Sunday, and is scheduled to review the decision that was taken for the first time in November, to stop further supply increases during the first quarter of 2026, after reviving production earlier last year.

The delegates said that the coalition will approve the step to suspend the increases at today’s meeting, indicating that the decision will not be affected by the sudden overthrow of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.

/>Informed sources reported yesterday, Saturday, that the oil infrastructure in Venezuela was not affected by the series of American attacks that targeted Caracas and several Venezuelan states.

The sources, who preferred to remain anonymous due to the confidentiality of the information, confirmed that the main facilities, such as the port of Jose, the Amway refinery, and the oil regions in the Orinoco belt, are still operating at full capacity.
