We will close the Strait of Hormuz and it will take some time

US President Donald Trump said in an interview on Fox News that it will take some time for the United States to tighten control over the Strait of Hormuz and close it.
Trump added that NATO now wants to help regarding the Strait of Hormuz, and we believe that many countries will help us with that.
He said: We will also bring more conventional minesweepers, and we expect Britain and other countries to send minesweepers as well.
Trump continued: “No one intercepted the two American ships that crossed the strait on Saturday.”
Regarding the talks with Iran that took place in Pakistan, he said that they were very friendly until their end, adding that a publication about erasing Iranian civilization was what brought the Iranians to the negotiating table.
He said: “The Iranians did not leave the negotiating table, and I expect that they will return and give us everything we want.”
