Theyab bin Zayed: Mohammed bin Rashid’s leadership model is a global beacon in government leadership
Abu Dhabi, 4 January / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Zayed Al Nahyan confirmed that the twentieth anniversary of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, assuming leadership of the UAE federal government represents an exceptional national milestone in the process of government work, during which an advanced model was formed that redefined the role of government, and established a new concept of management based on creating the future, not just managing the present.
His Highness stressed that the uniqueness of the government approach established by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum since 2006 was based on a clear, proactive vision that made competitiveness an institutional culture and innovation a daily work tool, and established a flexible government capable of making decisions efficiently, confronting global transformations with confidence, and turning challenges into sustainable development opportunities. He stressed that His Highness’s leadership model has become a shining beacon at the global level in the art of modern management and leading governments towards leadership and innovation.
His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Zayed pointed out that the essence of this leadership experience was a firm belief that people are the focus and purpose of development, which was reflected in government policies that placed quality of life, empowering competencies, and building national capabilities at the core of its priorities, and made investing in people the basic pillar for sustaining excellence and enhancing readiness for the future.
His Highness explained that what was achieved during twenty years of leadership of the UAE federal government was not the product of a circumstance or a passing phase, but rather the result of an integrated government approach based on clarity of vision, discipline in implementation, and accountability for results, an approach that established a solid government model that enabled the country to consolidate its position as a mature institutional force, capable of innovation and leadership, continuing continuous development, and making a difference in its regional and international environment.
At the conclusion of his speech, His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed that the achievements achieved in the UAE federal government over twenty years, and the high status that state institutions have achieved in terms of efficiency and innovation, are an extension of the path of leadership established by the legacy of “Zayed and Rashid,” may God bless them, and continues today under the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, asking God Almighty to preserve The state and its leadership, and to sponsor it with success and prosperity.
