The President appoints Abdullah Al Hamed as Chairman of the National Media Authority and Mohammed Al Shehhi as Vice Chairman of the Authority

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, issued two federal decrees appointing Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed as Chairman of the National Media Authority, and appointing Mohammed Saeed Rashid Al Shehhi as Vice President of the National Media Authority.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Media Council and Chairman of the National Media Office. He also held many other leadership positions in the fields of media, healthcare and energy.

Mohammed Saeed Rashid Al Shehhi served as Secretary General of the Emirates Media Council, and also held a number of leadership positions in the field of media, specialized areas, and sports.
