The One Billion Followers Summit brings together the most prominent content makers in the education sector across the region and the world

Dubai, January 7, 2026 – The One Billion Followers Summit, the largest global summit in the content industry economy, will host an elite group of the most prominent content makers and influencers in the education sector in the region and the world, which the UAE will host in Dubai during the period from January 9 to 11, 2026.
Participating content makers present a summary of their experiences and expertise in the field of education through a group of discussion sessions and workshops included in the summit. Their attendance also contributes to enhancing the knowledge landscape and enriching digital content with innovative practices that simplify science, build skills, and transform knowledge into an attractive educational experience.
Among the most prominent content makers in the education sector participating in the fourth edition of the One Billion Followers Summit is content maker Michael Gardner, whose number of followers exceeds 70 million people. He began his career in 2011, and worked with a group of the most prominent content makers on YouTube around the world. He also contributed, through the GPOP platform that he founded, which merged with Underknown a year after its founding, in developing innovative digital platforms, to provide purposeful educational content that achieves billions of views around the world.
Also prominent among them is Julie Walsh Smith, CEO of Complexly, the platform founded in 2012 by veteran producers John and Hank Green, which is behind the success of the best education channels on YouTube in the world, and aims to create reliable content that helps build knowledge, and helps students, teachers, and learners on a global scale. She has more than 32 million subscribers on YouTube, and more than 5.5 billion views, and is one of the largest educational producers in the world.
Armen Adamjan, creator of the Creative Explained platform, is also participating in the summit. He is a global content creator followed by more than 25 million people with more than 7 billion views. He is famous for providing creative and simple solutions to daily challenges, through content that focuses on sustainability, recycling, and the “Do It Yourself” initiative. He has published three books that have achieved sales of more than 70,000 copies through his website.
Content creator Abdullah Anan, who has more than 19 million followers, is also participating in the summit. He is the founder and CEO of Science Street LLC. Among the most prominent content creators participating in the fourth edition of the One Billion Followers Summit is Simon Squibb, founder of HelpBnk.com, who has more than 18 million followers. The 1 Billion Followers Summit will feature Chris Do, who has over 10 million followers, is an Emmy Award-winning designer, director, and founding CEO of The Futur, an educational platform that aims to teach 1 billion people to turn their passion into a sustainable source of income.
The summit also attracts content creator Hassan Al-Hashem, who is followed by more than 8.5 million people. Hassan worked as a programming engineer for 10 years, before moving to content creation in 2020, and began producing and presenting the Arabic documentary program on YouTube, “Mystery.”
Among the summit participants is Ting Shi Chi, known as Ms Qiwiie, a Malaysian content creator and entrepreneur who runs one of Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing media brands in the children’s and lifestyle space. With millions of views, she has become a prominent voice in storytelling and pop culture, and was nominated for TikTok’s “Creator of the Year” award in 2024, with a following of 8.9 million.
Also participating in the One Billion Followers Summit is Omar Abu Al-Rub, a content creator and visual storyteller who is followed by 6 million people. He is distinguished by an attractive narrative style that combines cinematic images with cultural, political and social analysis, presenting content that explains the region’s issues in a simplified and profound manner at the same time.
Also participating in the One Billion Followers Summit is Justin Singh, who has a following of more than 2.1 million followers, and has trained more than 30,000 students and professionals to acquire skills and knowledge in half the time, in addition to the participation of content creator Ashina Sirohi, who leads the Aevy TV channel, which is one of the most influential channels in India in the field of information and entertainment, as it presents videos that explain complex topics in business, economics, and culture in an interesting and easy-to-understand manner, which has earned her a wide following of more than 1.6 million followers.
